How we work
Verification methodology.
A repeatable process for moving from a seller’s claim to an evidence-backed understanding of origin, quality and commercial route.
Process
Five moves, then a decision.
The same sequence applies to every material and every supplier. The outcome can be an access decision or an explicit “not enough evidence”.
Map the legal entity
Identify the company operating the website, brand and invoicing layer.
Separate roles
Distinguish manufacturer, CDMO, exporter, trader, private-label operator and distributor.
Reconcile batch evidence
Compare original lot numbers, COAs, analytical files and external tests.
Contact upstream directly
Request manufacturer declaration, catalogue, MOQ, export entity and evidence pack.
Review jurisdiction
Only then assess whether a lawful commercial pathway exists in the target market.
Principles
How conclusions are reached.
Rules that stop the site from saying more than it knows.
States are set, not inferred
A layer or document is shown as received or verified only when an editor has set it from a record on file. Nothing is auto-promoted.
Every statement carries a basis
Fact, documented claim, inference or unverified. An unverified manufacturer never inherits the look of a verified one.
No invented numbers
Completeness is a count of documented layers. There are no scores, percentages, certifications or batch data without a source.
Absence is not proof
Not finding a record does not make a batch invalid, and finding one does not make it safe for any use.
Public status, private files
The site shows whether evidence exists. Source documents and internal notes stay controlled.
Jurisdiction last, not never
Legal position is assessed per jurisdiction, and left open until reviewed by qualified counsel.
Record states
One vocabulary across the site.
The same states appear on materials, manufacturers, batches and documents.
Methodology in practice.
